ABOUT

At the helm of Eszter Aliz Education is Eszter A. Odor, an outstanding educator and speaker, known for her exceptional teaching and unique ability to connect with diverse audiences. With five foreign languages under her belt and a Master’s from the prestigious Beijing Normal University, tied with her media experience gained in China and South Korea, Eszter's confidence-building methods have helped hundreds of children and adults excel, making her an inspiring choice for impactful education and training.

At BNU, Eszter specialised in Sociology in Education and Girls' Education. A recipient of the highly coveted Chinese Government Scholarship, she was also honoured with awards for her Outstanding Dissertation and recognition as an Outstanding International Graduate.

Her groundbreaking dissertation, The Role of Female Teachers in the Growth of Vulnerable Girls: The Example of School M in Beijing, was informed by in-depth fieldwork, exemplifying her commitment to impactful research.

A Young Polyglot

From a young age, Eszter’s fascination with languages and cultures was evident. She began taking English classes at the age of three, sparking her curiosity about the wider world. As she grew older, her enthusiasm expanded to self-teaching Mandarin, Korean, and French, laying the foundation for her future profession.

Early Teaching Experience

While completing her undergraduate degree in London, Eszter began her teaching journey by tutoring Mandarin at girls’ schools and providing private lessons. Teaching quickly became more than a profession; it was a source of deep fulfilment. She devoted herself to lesson preparation and relished the joy of connecting with her students through shared stories, laughter, and witnessing their progress. Sharing her own experiences of learning Mandarin with her students brought her immense happiness and inspired them to embrace language learning with enthusiasm.

Advanced Studies and Research

After graduating, Eszter pursued a master’s degree in Principles of Education at Beijing Normal University, supported by the prestigious Chinese Government Scholarship. Motivated by her teaching experiences, she delved into educational research, particularly the role of female teachers in fostering girls' confidence and growth. Her research included projects on educational policy, citizenship education, and teaching Chinese as a native language, alongside fieldwork in underdeveloped regions of China.

In 2019, Eszter spent months as a trainee teacher and researcher at a primary school on the outskirts of Beijing. Immersing herself fully in the community, she lived alongside other teachers in the school building. This unique experience allowed her to study the impact of teacher-student relationships on girls' confidence, providing valuable insights into how these connections can elevate their learning experiences.

Founding Eszter Aliz Education

Upon returning to London, Eszter was determined to continue sharing her passion for empowerment pedagogy with students, parents, and fellow educators. This led to the founding of Eszteraliz Education, which has since helped hundreds of children rediscover their passion for learning, excel in school, and explore their talents.

Eszter’s unique teaching approach unburdens parents from homework stress while empowering children to thrive academically and personally. Her pedagogy, developed during her master’s studies, focuses on fostering confidence and enabling students to succeed while staying true to their authentic selves.
