This initial session is a focused one-to-one assessment designed to identify your child’s current subject knowledge and skills. During the session, your child will work through carefully structured, subject-specific activities. The approach is fast-paced, supportive, and designed to build confidence while giving an accurate picture of their current level. Following the session, you will receive clear, honest feedback on your child’s strengths, areas for development, and whether they are a suitable fit for the small-group programme. Group placement is based on ability to ensure each child is matched with others at a similar level. This session is ideal for parents who want a clear understanding of their child’s reading development, as well as an introduction to a structured, accelerated approach to tutoring.
