Thoughtful, Individualised Education
Supporting ambitious students and internationally-minded families through personalised academic and language education.
Education Beyond Traditional Tutoring
I specialise in languages, literacy, and culturally informed learning. Drawing on a Master of Education from Beijing Normal University, advanced foreign language study, and professional experience across China and South Korea, I combine academic rigour with a global perspective and a highly personalised approach to education.
Alongside tuition and academic mentoring, I have experience delivering educational workshops and public speaking engagements. My work focuses not only on academic achievement but also on developing confidence, intellectual curiosity, and independent learning skills that support long-term success.

My Journey
A Young Polyglot
From an early age, I was fascinated by languages and cultures. Learning multiple languages as a non-native speaker gave me first-hand experience of the challenges language learners face and continues to shape the practical, empathetic approach I bring to teaching today.
Early Teaching Experience
While completing my undergraduate studies in London, I began tutoring Mandarin Chinese in schools and through private lessons. These early experiences revealed the transformative impact of personalised education and inspired my commitment to helping students build confidence alongside academic success.
Advanced Studies & Research
I pursued a Master of Education at Beijing Normal University as a Chinese Government Scholar, specialising in Sociology of Education and Girls' Education. My research explored how educational environments, teacher-student relationships, and confidence influence long-term learning outcomes. These insights that continue to inform my work with students and families today.
A Personalised Educational Practice
Following my return to London, I developed an independent educational practice centred on personalised learning, academic mentoring, and language education. Today, I work with students and families worldwide, helping learners build confidence, independence, and long-term success.
